With the editing of the original work of T3GM: Genesis, it's somewhat necessary to address the changes that will be taking place throughout the novel. Note that these may contain spoilers to both Genesis and the Redux, so use caution when browsing.
(WILL UPDATE EVENTUALLY)
- The Guardsmen are not as young, they are at least 21 years of age at the time of T3GM's foundation.
- The dragons exist only in legend. They aren't seen, except in a statue, the Great Dragon of Andorg.
- The Master Tower is not completed until after the novel; The Guardsmen have a base of operations within Andorg City.
- Said base is called the "Chistler Building".
- Rachel can no longer manipulate ice.
- All three of the Guardsmen will have handguns (and possibly rifles) in addition to their respective blades. Patrick will give Alex a combat knife.
- The A.O.T. is now a council of corporations seeking to control Andorg City.
- The name for T3GM is not decided until the very end of the novel; The organization is known as "T3" (The Three) until the final chapter.
- the Orbs are not as complex as they were once made out to be.
- Shade will NOT be reappearing with a new arm at the end, or at all.
- The A.O.T.'s first attack won't be as massive.
- The beginnings of the Army of Guardsmen will show up before the ending.
- The attack on Rachel plays out differently, and triggers the first encounter with the A.O.T.
- The ways in which Patrick, Rachel, Zanthor, and Shade are introduced will be different.
- The flashback fight between Alex and Shade will play out differently, and show more of Shade's cruel and unforgiving nature.
- Brokom will play a larger role.
- More of Alex's past will be revealed, including information about his father, mother, and younger sister.
- The "romance" between Alex and Rachel will be fleshed out more.
- Since it was noticed that Patrick and Rachel never had any one-on-one dialogue, a sequence for them has been added, establishing a friendship between the two.
- Alex and Patrick's friendship will also be more developed.
- The A.O.T. will not have jets, nor as many tanks, although they will be included.
- Rachel will have a backstory, in addition to her currently established one (a la old Genesis).
- A little of Zanthor's past is revealed.
- Language and themes are more mature. This is most certainly not a kids' book.
- The A.O.T. isn't defeated by the Guardsmen alone, and all three of the Guardsmen will be wounded in battle, emphasizing their vulnerability. (It was noted in the original, the 3 Guardsmen seemed near-invincible.)
